Ostfildern near Stuttgart, 16 June 2005. After developing, nurturing and expanding the attractive Falk brand in recent years, a wide-ranging information campaign is now being launched on radio, online and in the printed media. An advertising campaign is intended to convey the claim and new brand slogan “Never be lost again – anywhere. Falk”. The Düsseldorf agency BBDO Campaign was commissioned to design and create the traditional media; the accompanying online advertising media have been developed by Interone International, the agency for interlinked multi-channel communication which belongs to the BBDO Group and has an international focus.

Ostfildern near Stuttgart, 8 March 2005. Falk Marco Polo Interactive GmbH (FM-I), a company belonging to MairDumont, Europe’s market leader for travel and leisure media, expanded its activities considerably in 2004. It proved possible to increase sales from € 4.1 million in 2003 to € 10.2 million in 2004. FM-I has thereby strengthened its position as one of the leading providers in the area of mobile navigation systems in particular. Dr. Frank Mair, the managing director of FM-I, judges the prospects for the future favourably: “The market for mobile navigation systems is really emerging. Our innovative technologies and brands place us in a very good position and we are therefore aiming to expand considerably in 2005.” The 2005 offensive is to begin with the launch of an innovative product for CeBIT 2005: the Falk Navigator with Acer – a complete package allowing everybody to enjoy mobile navigation with ease.
